Rockimals has no ads and no child accounts. A child can explore its space visitors without creating a profile. Purchases, outside links, animal postcards and story reminders are separated by a parent gate. That gate is a check inside Rockimals, not a device-wide parental-control system. The app is free to download, while Rockimals Plus is optional.
What can a child see without an account?
Radar, animal facts and following are free, with 3 minutes of Earth Shield each day and one discovery mission per theme each day. Choose 10 free story chapters in total, with up to 3 new chapters per day. These free chapters stay yours to replay. Every plan, including Plus, discovers at most one new chapter per animal per day: finish the current chapter, then meet that friend on Radar on a later day.
While active, Rockimals Plus includes the published story library and available English/Turkish narration, unlimited Earth Shield, all 12 discovery missions, four more games and journal decorations. Daily chapter progression still applies.
Hear the adventures in English or Turkish. Each fresh installation can choose one narrated chapter free; this is separate from the 10 free reading chapters. Download narration while connected, then listen to downloaded audio when your access allows it.
If you are trying the app together, open Radar and read one visitor’s card before considering Plus. The visitor’s astronomical measurements come from space data; the animal and story are imaginative characters. For the first steps, see our getting-started guide.
Which actions ask for a grown-up?
The app uses an Ask a grown-up step for purchases and external links. The current listing also places animal postcards and optional story reminders behind that step. A grown-up can decide whether to enable reminders and can turn them off again in the app or device settings. The gate does not replace your device’s own purchase permissions or supervision.
Rockimals Plus is an optional, auto-renewing subscription offered to adults. Check the current price and terms in the App Store before buying. On iPhone or iPad, use the Plus screen’s Restore Purchases option with the same Apple account if an entitlement is missing. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple account settings; deleting the app alone does not cancel it. The support page explains these steps.
Does “no account” mean no data?
No. The privacy policy describes a pseudonymous installation credential, device-integrity evidence, platform, selected language and time zone used to provide and protect the service. A service provider may process network information in transit. The App Store privacy label also lists purchase, identifier and other-data categories as not linked to identity; that label is the developer’s disclosure, not an Apple audit.
For iOS 1.5.0, StoreKit checks purchases on the device. Protected story and narration delivery also sends purchase evidence to our service for independent verification with Apple. The service processes installation identifiers, requested chapter/language and free chapter or narration selections. iOS reminders remain local. See the privacy policy for platform differences, retention and deletion.
A practical check before downloading
